Mireia Vilalta
Blues Rock Lady
Mireia Vilalta, a singer and guitarist from Girona, with over 15 years of musical career behind her, has captivated her audience in recent years with her musical compositions and performances of guitar legends such as Gary Moore, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, among others.
This 2024 season, she has immersed herself in working on and recording her second album, featuring songs she has been presenting on stage over the past two years, which have received excellent reviews from her most loyal audience. On February 11th, 2025, coinciding with the International Day of Women and Girls in Science and her own 35th birthday, Mireia has released the EP Etapes de Renaixença.
After nine years without releasing a full-length work—since her first album Apnea (2016)—Mireia has been unveiling singles that showcase her artistic evolution. Now, Etapes de Renaixença marks a turning point in her career, with songs that explore personal growth, emotional strength, and self-connection.
The first previews of this EP have already been well received:
-
No Estàs Sola (November 25, 2024) – An anthem of empowerment released on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, with a music video created using artificial intelligence.
-
Has Sabut (December 13, 2024) – A reflection on solitude and the strength of human connections.
-
Mar de Records (January 10, 2025) – An ode to the magic of small everyday moments and the rediscovery of the love for life.

With this new EP, Mireia Vilalta reaffirms her ability to connect with the audience through a personal and innovative style. Furthermore, this release will mark the beginning of a tour across various venues in Catalonia, where she will perform both her new songs and standout tracks from her first album, including Sons i Paraules, a song featured in the renowned series Merlí.
Etapes de Renaixença was made possible thanks to the production, direction, and recording by Xarly Cáneva, a professional musician with over 25 years of experience, a music producer, and an arranger for both emerging and well-known artists at the national level. The graphic design and photography for each of the covers were made possible through the artistry of photographer Àlex Boix, known on social media as Clash Disaster.
At each concert on the tour, Mireia plans to introduce glimpses of the new songs she has been composing over the past year, which will be part of upcoming musical releases. She will experiment with the energetic rock-blues style that characterizes her live performances while incorporating modern sounds.
In addition to her solo project, last season, she also launched her band in a trio format, Mireia Vilalta Covers Band, alongside Xarly and Miguel, where they perform versions of the greatest classics.
Mireia is determined to leave no one indifferent—her energy on stage ensures that everyone enjoys both her solo performances and now also her trio format shows.
